NZBGet Setup Instructions for macOS Users
Use the following instructions to configure NZBGet with Easynews on your Mac.
Step 1: Download and Install NZBGet
- 
	Navigate to NZBGet official download page. 
- 
	Download the latest .dmgpackage for macOS.
- 
	Open and move NZBGet into the Applications folder. 
- 
	Start the application. 
Step 2: Open NZBGet Web Interface
- 
	Once running, open your browser and visit http://localhost:6789.
- 
	Use these default credentials: - 
		Username: nzbget
- 
		Password: tegbzn6789
 
- 
		
Step 3: Enter Easynews Server Details
- 
	Navigate to Settings > News-Servers. 
- 
	Create a new entry or modify the default server: - 
		Name: Easynews 
- 
		Host: news.easynews.com
- 
		Port: 563 (SSL) or 119 (non-SSL) 
- 
		Encryption: Enabled 
- 
		Username and Password: Your Easynews credentials 
- 
		Connections: Use up to 60 based on your plan 
 
- 
		

Save changes and restart NZBGet to apply settings.
Step 4: Set Up Indexer Integration
To streamline access to Usenet articles:
- 
	Confirm correct folders under Settings > Paths. 
- 
	Use automation software to link Indexers. 
- 
	Input the Indexer’s URL and API key. 
Step 5: Confirm Configuration
- 
	Return to News-Servers, select the Easynews entry, and click Test Server. 
- 
	Once the test passes, NZBGet is configured for Easynews.
